Kofta Curry

Kofta Curry/Savory Dumpling in Gravy/Panner Aloo Kofta

Hi Friends,
Monsoon and power failure of half states of India. Very rare thing. But we Indian knows how to tackle the things. So we even enjoyed these power failures. Without electricity most of the people were outside their homes, on roads, in markets. So we enjoyed Candle light dinner with family, gupshup (chatting) with neighbour /college's, Long walk on road, Long Drive, which are rare things now. See how positive we people are.
     (Picture are from Web)
On the other hand markets are flooded with different kind of RAKHI'S, thalis and gifts. Tomorrow is a festival of brothers and sisters. Sisters tie Rakhis on their brother's hand and pray for his long and peaceful life, on the other hand brothers show their gesture by giving gifts to his sister. Wow, everybody is excited to have their gifts. There are lots of different kind of Rakhis for children like cartoon characters, flowers, butterfly etc. My kids are also excited for this and my son especially asked me to bring Spider man rakhi for him. Will post some photos of celebration. I am already planning for the dishes i will prepare tomorrow. Till then enjoy this kofta.

NOTES:-
  1. You can use spices of your choice for gravy and also make koftas with only salt as they will be immersed in spicy gravy.
  2. Fry koftas few at a time as they might break.
  3. Add koftas just 5 min before serving, otherwise they will break.
  4. Instead of rolling them in cornflour, you can make a thin paste of flour and water and dip koftas in that and fry. or you can add bread crumbs in the potato & paneer.
HAVE A NICE DAY
