Moong Sprout Sandwich/ Healthy Sandwich/ Healthy Breakfast

Moong Sprout Sandwich/
Healthy Sandwich/
Healthy Breakfast
Hi Friends,
One more healthy recipe. Everybody knows that sprouts are healthy. So i thought to add this in sandwich. It came out so crispy and tasty. I have used white bread as i was only having it on my shelf. Use multigrain/brown bread to make it super healthy.

You can have this sandwich in breakfast or as snacks in the evening. Its also a very easy and quick recipe. I made it for my kids breakfast. It was very easy to prepare everything and putting sandwich in bread and helping kids to get ready for school. I feel its a breeze to make them in the breakfast in the morning rush hours. My kids liked them a lot. Hope you will like them too.

Ingredients:-

Bread (white/brown/multigrain)- 6 slices
Sprouts-1 tbsp
boiled potato- 2 medium
Onion- chopped 1 tbsp
ghee/butter- 1 tbsp
salt- as per your taste
chilly powder- 1/2 optional
tomato sauce- 2 tsp

Method:-
Take all your ingredients

Take onion+potato+sprouts in a bowl and mix them together

Add salt+chilly powder and mix well

and finally add tomato sauce and mix

Take a slice of bread

apply ghee/butter on it

take a generous amount of sprouts mix and spread evenly

cover with another bread and apply ghee/butter

Brush your sandwich maker with some butter/ghee/oil

place your sandwiches

close it

Done within a minute

Enjoy

CRISPY AND TASTY SANDWICHES ARE READY TO SERVE

Notes:-

  1. Use multigrain/brown bread for more healthier version.
  2. You can skip onion if you dont like it. You can add any of your favorite veggie like carrot/cabbage etc to make it more healthy.
  3. You can skip tomato sauce mixing in the mix. But it will provide a good moisture and flavor to the sandwich.
Hope you will like it

Banana & Cream Sandwich/ Fruit Sandwich/ Cold Sandwich

Banana & Cream Sandwich/
Fruit Sandwich/
Cold Sandwich
Hi Friends,
Temperature is already soaring in Delhi. Least mood of making some snacks or making something elaborated for meals. Still we have to make something to stop those hunger pangs.  So yesterday i was looking for something quick, easy and less messy. So first look in the fridge gave a smile while some whipped cream was there. Banana and Bread was on the table. So i was ready for a cold sanwich which was yummy and quite filling too. It took me hardly 8-10 minutes to assemble and make the sandwiches. Kids loved them. Asked for more and requested to put few in lunch box but as it has cream in it i can not take the risk as it may get sour by the time of lunch. So asked then to have it after school snacks and they agreed. You choose your favorite bread and fruits to enjoy this sandwich. Hope you will like it.

Ingredients:-

Bread- 4 pieces
Banana- 2
Cream -2-3 tbsp or as per your requirement

Method:-
Take all your ingredients
PEAL AND SLICE BANANA

Take a bread and spread cream on it

arrange your fruits on it

take another slice of bread

 cover with cream

cover the first slice with the second

cut in triangle

i like small triangles
as they are easy to hold

serve

ENJOY

WITH SOME MORE BANANAS

Notes:-

  1. You can use any kind of bread for this sandwich.
  2. You can use any fruit as per your liking.
  3. You can use fresh cream, whip it a bit and use.
Hope you will like it

Quick Snacks
Hi Friends,
In my childhood had this sandwich and enjoyed it a lot. afterwards somehow i forgot to try this. Few days back when i was going through some blogs and i saw these yummy sandwiches and very next day i made them. I made them simple as we use to have in childhood. These are so simple, easy, quick and yummy sandwiches.  Gooey cheese coming out of the edges tempted me so much. Kids loved it very much. Even when i was having that with a cup of coffee i was just remembered how my father use to make that sandwich for us. Hmmm those golden days will never come back. But these sandwiches sent me back to memories of those childhood days. I will make them again and again to bring back those memories. If you like cheese then try it guys you will love them.

Ingredients:-

Bread (any) - 4 slices
Cheese - 2 tbsp (grated)
Black pepper - few pinches

Sending this to Sara'event

Notes:-
  1. You can add more spices in it according to your taste. But believe me you don't need to add anything else, it will taste awesome like this.
  2. You can use any bread. i used brown bread.
  3. Adding black pepper will enhance the taste.
  4. You can also make this on stove top. but you need to bake it on tawa/griddle on slow fire to get cheese melted well.
  5. You can bake or grill them.
  6. Have it hot or warm.
