DOUGH FOR PIZZA/BUN/BREAD
Hi Friends, Today I am here with a basic recipe of Dough we use for Pizza, Bun, Bread etc. This is the Basic recipe in some recipe there are some specification about kneading the dough. So method would remain some unless there is specification are given in some particular recipes. Here i am using All purpose flour (APF) which is called Maida in hindi. You can use half wheat flour and half APF and health point of view you can use only wheat flour. But keep in mind wheat flour or any other flour does not rise well and you ill get a dense bun/bread. So guys risk is yours choose flour as per your wish.
APF (maida) - 1 cup
Yeast - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Suger - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2-3 tsp
Oil - 2-3 tsp
Warm Water - as needed (approx 2 cups)
Gather your ingredients
Take one cup warm water and mix sugar and salt in it
Now add yeast and stir once and leave it for 10 min
After 10 min yest is activated
(if your yeast is not activated discard it and try again with fresh yeast and water)
Take flour in a wide bowl and make a well in it
Now add your yeast and mix well
adding more warm water make a dough (knead for atleast 5 min)
Grease a big bowl and adjust your dough in that
Cover and leave for fermentation for 3-4 hours
(in summery areas it takes hardly one hour)
Dough is double after 3-4 hours
Now punch it down and apply oil or flour and knead again for 5 min
ITS READY TO USE

- Be careful while adding yeast in warm water. Water should me warm not hot or on room temperature. Hot water will kill the yeast and normal water will not activate it.
- Do not disturb yeast for 10 min while leaving it to activate.
- Leave the dough for rising according to your area's climate. In warm areas it takes only one hour and in colder areas atleast 4-5 hours.
- I f you are using this dough to make bun or bread then after completing this process shape them as you wish or fill with filling (if any) tip in your baking pan and leave again to rise for 20-30 min.
