Dates Honey Butter less Cake

Dates Honey Butter less Cake
Hiiiiii Friends,
Hope you enjoyed yesterday's holiday very well reminding teaching of Great Gandhi Ji. Don't know what should i write about him, I think his name is enough to explain his character. A great personality. His three monkeys are world famous teaching us to stay away from all kind of bad things. Yesterday i was giving these lessons to my kids and trying to answer there endless questions.
Now to the recipe. Dates Cake, i wanted to make it since long. But in every recipe we were required to make puree of dates which was not possible for me. In other recipes i grate the ingredients required to puree but in this case i can't use this method. So i used my way to make them mushy and used my own ingredients and imagination and went ahead. Outcome was very soft, Spongy and tasty cake. I think here  condense milk was not required. I feel so, i really don't know. But if we omit CM from it then it will be totally sugar less, butter less Healthy cake. Will try and let you know. Till then try it and enjoy.

Ingredients:-
Dates- 100 gm (or 15-17 dates)
Milk - 3/4 cup
Condense Milk- 1/2 cup
Honey - 3/4 cups
Baking Pdr - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp

Method:-
Gather your ingredients

Take dates remove seeds and cap
Heat 1 cup water and add dates in it cook till mushy

Cool it completely

Till then prepare your pan by greasing with oil and dusting flour

Now add honey in cooled dates

then condense milk

add milk and mix well

At last mix flour in it and mix well

Tip it in prepare pan

Bake for 25 min

Take out and cool completely

Cut Pieces
(i don't have such patience )

See how moist it is

So spongy, So soft

TRY ONE

Notes:-
  1. You can sieve boiled dates for uniform mixing, i like the tit bits of dates in cake.
  2. Add any of your favorite nuts or dry fruits in it.
  3. All ingredients were just perfect, no need to increase or decrease anything. If you feel it less sweet, add more honey or condense milk.
  4. Check cake after 20 min as baking time may differ in oven.

Hope you will like it

Love
