Easy and quick Dessert with Semolina

Hi Friends,
Here i am posting a very easy kheer recipe. Which is very simple to make and scrumptious to eat. I made it yesterday on Karwachauth. I was searching for sweet recipes which should be easy and simple. Went through so many blogs but didn't got anything interesting. Then i remembered that i asked my mom to bring sooji/rava to make ladoos. My mind said yes sooji kheer/rava payasam will be the best to make as its very easy and needs hardly any ingredients.

It took me less then 15 minutes to make this payasam. Best part is you can serve it hot or cold. Everybody in my home liked it cold. Almonds were giving perfect crunch and juicy raisins were making it more delicious. Also it is good for health as its lite on stomach. Infants, kids, elders anybody can have it. Try it guys it will never disappoint you. Anybody anytime can have it.

Ingredients:-

Sooji/Rava/Semolina- 1 cup
Milk- 3 cups
Sugar- 3/4 cups
ghee-1 tbsp
Almonds-tbsp
Raisins- 1 tbsp

Method:-

Gather your ingredients

Heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan/kadai

Add sooji/rava

 roast for few seconds

add milk slowly

mix well and keep on stirring

within a minute it become thick

when it become thick like this

Notes:-
  1. For lesson the calories skip ghee and dry roast sooji/rava. Use  milk+half water instead of milk alone.
  2. If you feel kheer become more thick then you can add more milk or water in it to make it runny.or for more thick consistency cook for more few minuets till you reach desired consistency.
  3. Keep it stirring otherwise sooji/rava will stick to bottom and will burn easily.
  4. Add any of your favorite dry fruits.
  5. Serve it hot or cold.
HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT

Love
