Hi Friends,
I know this is the time of festivals and traditional sweets are more in. but these days i am not much in cooking. I am making simple home food. This is a draft post. I made this cake which came out so yumm. I was having some leftover brown sugar and thinking to finish it off soon. Then i went through some blogs in which brown sugar was used to make cakes. I thought to give it a try. Cake came out so tasty and the fact that it was bit healthy as i used multi grain. The texture was bit dense but spongy.
I am posting this cake for my brother's Birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BROTHER 
  Try it guys you will love it. 

Ingredients:-
Multigrain flour- 1.5 cups
Baking pdr-1 tsp
Baking soda-3/4 tsp
Brown sugar- 1.5 cups
Oil-3/4 cups
Hot water- about 2 cups


Method:-
Multi grain flour+baking pdr+baking soda

brown sugar+oil

Sieve flour+baking soda+baking pdr

mix sugar+oil

 if you feel its dry add some hot water

mix well

add flour

mix well
don't worry if it will be crumby

add hot water 

                     mix to get batter consistency

Pour in baking pan

i baked it for 30 minutes

take it out and cool down completely








Notes:-
  1. You can use maida/APF instead of wheat or multi grain flour. Cake will be more airy, fluffy and light.
  2. You can have it as snack cake also and enjoy with tea/coffee.
  3. You can use white sugar here but it will change taste and texture of the cake.
