Cumin Flavored Potato
There are so many some easy quick and yummy side dishes. These kind of things make me so happy. As you can see in My Rescuer in Kitchen-2 (coming soon) that mostly boiled potato is available in my fridge. Potato's are so versatile that you can make starters to main dish with this fat, brown color, grounded veggie. There are so many dishes you can make with it from sandwiches, cutlet, dry dishes, gravies, fries, pakoda or pair it with any veggie any legume and you will get something different. Here i am posting very simple ans scrumtious Jeera Aloo, you have boiled potato in hand then it will take only 5-6 min to make this yummy dry dish.
Prep Time- 5 min
Cooking Time - 5 min
Potato - 2 medium (boiled and cut)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Chilly Pdr - 1/2 tsp
Coriandar Pdr - 1/2 tsp
Amchoor Pdr - 1 tsp
Salt - as per your taste
Take your ingredients
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a vessel
Add cumin seeds let them crackle
Add all spices on by one and mix well
After mixing all spices cover it for one minute
Remove cover and mix well again
Ready to Serve
Serve with Roti/Chapati/Poori/Naan
Or Even with Boiled Rice/Pulao

- You can add only salt and spice up with any of your favorite masala.
- You can use raw potato also it will take more 15 min to cook and taste will be different.
- Even for more healthier version you can mix all spices in the boiled potato and cracle jeera in 1 tsp oil and mix well.
