Easy Wheat flour and Semolina Wrap/ Atay or Sooji ka Wrap

Easy Wheat flour and Semolina Wrap/
Atay or Sooji ka Wrap
Hi Friends,
Valentine day's fragrance is in the air. Markets are flooded with heart shapes pillow, key rings, bags t-shirts, even restaurants are offering wide range or menu on Love themes. You can see love birds doing endless shopping for their loved one. I am also planning to bake a cake for that day with my first experience of icing with butter-cream icing. Earlier i used only chocolate sauce or ganache to decorate and ice the cake as it was the easiest option for me. Lets see what would be the outcome.

Now to the today's recipe. I made these wraps with great success. I saw them in a magazine and stored in my memory as i found them very easy and healthy. You can use any of your favorite filling for it. I used dry potato-peas masala. For more filling option you can see here, here and here. This is a crispy wrap. You can close it from all sides to make a pocket, but i made them for my kids lunch box they insisted me to make them like this only. They enjoyed it a lot and asked me to make them again. Hope you will also like it.

Ingredients:-
Sooji/Semolina- 1/2 cup
Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
Ajwain- 1 tsp
Roasted cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per your taste

spread a ladle full of batter on it and cook for few seconds

you can wrap it from 3 sides also and even make pockets by wrapping from all sides

Ready to go in the lunch box

Notes:-
  1. You can mix and match flour substitute in it. Like use ragi, jwar or any other combination.
  2. You can add chilly pdr in the batter to make it spicy.
  3. Use your favorite filling to make wrap.
  4. Make it two fold, three fold or even pocket wrap. choice is yours.
HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT
