Moong Daal Parantha/Lentil Pancake

Leftover Daal Parantha with Sprout Sabzi/

Lentil Pancake with Sprouts Side Dish

Hiiiiiiii Dear Alllllllll,

Do you feel confused sometimes that what to do with leftover food you find in your fridge or in your pantry, as nobody like to eat same daal aur sabzi again and again for lunch or dinner. I feel the same  most of the time. I feel very sad when i see some daal aur sabzi gazing at me to finish it up soon.
Today i am here with a leftover Healthy Breakfast with leftover daal and Moong Daal Sprout sabzi.
Here i am posting two recipes as complete healthy breakfast, served to hubby with his favourite cup of tea and newspaper.

Here goes the recipe:-

Leftover Parantha/ Lentil Pancake

Ingredients:-

All ingredients are approximate
Leftover Daal (any)    - 2 bowl
Wheat Floor                - 3 bowl
Salt                              - 1/2 tsp (as daal already have salt)
Ajwain (Caron seeds) - 1/2 tsp

Procedure Step by Step:-

Take your ingredients i used only daal and flour

Mix daal and flour

Start making a dough

Let it rest for 10-15 minutes (this is optional)

Now take dough and oil or ghee

Make lemon size balls out of the dough

Start rolling them and make flat disc/parantha with help of a rolling pin
 flat disc/parantha
Heat iron tawa/non stick tawa or flat pan

Put  parantha on it and apply oil

Turn it and repeat

Cook both sides

Daal Parantha is ready to serve (sorry for blurry photo)

Notes:-
  1. Adjust the quantity of daal and flour, if u feel  dough is loose add flour, if its hard then add water (if daal is less)
  2. You can make the dough at night at keep in fridge with covered with lid or wet cloth napkin.
  3. Adjust the spices as per your taste you can add chilly powder, black paper powder to enhance the taste.
  4.  You can serve these parantha with without any side dish or with chatni/sauce/pickle or anything u like.

 ENJOY
