Ganesh Chaturthi Special
Hi Friends,
HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI TO ALL
I know this festival occassion is celebrated in whole India with Some of different methods. But the faith is same. So with all the believe and faith i am moving ahead with todays recipe which is for LORD GANESHA.
I am here with the recipe which i made to offer Lord Ganesha as prasad. We brought a beautiful idol of  Lord Ganesha to our house and he is our Guest at home for 10 days. He is blessing us with his presence. I will almost daily upload the recipes which i will make during this festival. Yesterday i made these ladoos and believe me these ladoos are very easy and simple to make. It took hardly 20-25 minutes to make them. Just keep in mind to stirring it while making the ladoos as it can burn easily. You need not to worry about the taste as it is a never fail recipe. So move ahead and make these ladoos, offer them to Lord Ganesha and take the blessings.

Ingredients:-

Sooji/Rava- 1 cup
Coconut powder-1/2 cup
Milk powder - half cup
Milk- 1/2 cup or more
Ghee- 1 tsp
Almonds- tbsp

Method:-
Take all your ingredients

Crush the cardamom

you can crush or cut the almonds in small pieces

Now take 1/2 tsp ghee in a heavy bottom kadai/vessel

Add sooji/rava and (but dont let it brown)

roast it for 1-2 minutes till a nice aroma comes

It will change the color a bit but do not overdo it (do not let it brown)

done

Take it out in a plate

Now add coconut in the same vessel & dry roast it

it will take hardly one minute

now switch off the gas stove or take the vessel/kadai off the heat

mix it

Add milk powder and mix it

milk half cup

Now mix it and put it back on heat

Roast if for 30 seconds and add chopped almonds

and rest of the ghee

Mix it and roast it for more 30 seconds

Its done now

Take it out in a plate and cool it down a bit

Take a small portion in hand

Roll it and make a ladoo out of it

i had this mold so i used it to shape the ladoos

grease the mold with oil and take out a portion of dough

put it in the mold

press it firmly

Taa...... Daa......

Shape them as per your wish

I made them with my mold

studded them with almonds

and offered to Lord Ganesha

ENJOYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Notes:-

  1. If you feel that sugar is less then you can increase milk powder to 3/4 cup or as another alternative if you dont have milk powder take 1 tbsp sugar and mix it in milk and use as per the recipe.
  2. Keep the mixture stirring in the whole process otherwise it may burn easily.
  3. Make the ladoos while dough is still warm. Do not let it cool down complete otherwise shaping them will be difficult.
  4. Adding almonds is optional. You can make them plain or add your choice of dry fruits like cashew nuts, raisins etc.
Hope you will like it
