Eggless Bat Ball Cake with Whip cream Icing for my Son's Birthday/ Bat Ball Cake

Eggless Bat Ball Cake with Whip cream Icing for my Son's Birthday/
Eggless Bat Ball Cake
Hi Friends,
I know i am irregular these days to post new recipes for all of you. I promise to be regular soon. I wanted to post so many new recipes but work schedule didn't let me do that. So here i am posting a recipe from my draft. Made two cakes on my Twin kids birthday. I made this DOLL CAKE for my daughter and this Bat-Ball Cake for my son.
Don't get confused if you see some writing content in above picture with white icing and on the top pictures it is with green icing  actually at first i wrote it with green icing then removed it (my hubby said its not visible) and used white icing for writing. Its just opposite in the pictures. I chose a loaf pan to ease my work as we will get a bit of dome shape like we can see in bats. It made my work so easy as i didn't need to shape my cake. I just made a simple handle with the extra cake and frosted it. I made this cake night before and frosted it next day. My son was very happy with the cake. My hubby said that the length of cake should be more to make it more realistic (as bat has a long body and handle) i convinced him by saying that its a bat for a kid not for a man when i will make a cake for him then definitely i will try to make a realistic bat ball cake. Till then let the boy enjoy his bat and ball.

FOR ICING - SEE HERE

Sorry here as i was not able to take pictures when i was shaping and frosting the cake but i will explain you the method:-

I baked my cake in loaf pan (to make the body of bat) and for the handle of the pan i used a extra small cake which i baked for backup. See tips here which i mentioned in my earlier post. I used whip cream for frosting the cake and used same colors to decorate the cake. You can see more tips here

I wrote few lines for my future cricketer
Here comes the ball. After thinking so much i decided to go easy with the ball so i just took a lollipop and made dotes with icing to make seam of the ball, cut the stick half and inserted it in the cake and my ball was ready.

AND My Cake is Ready

Notes:-

  1. You can make a big loaf cake and then carve it to shape it as bat.
  2. You can use a real or artificial ball to make ball but i wanted it to be eatable so used lollipop.
  3. I made two cakes one was Eggless vanilla doll cake (see here) and second i chose to make chocolate cake. You can use simple vanilla cake as well for this recipe.
  4. You can use vegetable oil or butter instead of Olive oil.
HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT
