Spiced Rice/ Healing Rice

SPICED RICE
RICE WITH HEALING POWER
Hi Friends,
Have you ever felt caught in the web of confusion? kids are not well, not eating anything and asking for a think which is especially needs to be avoided. I face this situation so many times, then i modify food in some way. Few days back my son was not well, shivering with fever, cold and cough (still have some signs) and asking for rice. i tried everything to change his menu card but all in vein. 
Then i reminded one marriage where these rice were served. Imminently i gathered my ingredients and within 20 min these rice were ready to serve. I always soak my rice for whatever time i have in hand, 5 min to 1 hour. By this ways cooking time lessons. I made this rice and the aroma was just so soothing and comforting. Do not worry if kids take out these spices out of the plate as the aroma and healing power of these spices already soaked by the rice. But try to make them it while rice is still warm, it will take away their all illness. So cook these rice without any second thought. 

Ingredients:-
Rice          - 2 cups
Cloves      - 5-6
Black pepper (whole)  - 2 tsp
Black Cardamom        - 3-4
Cumin Seeds             - 1 tsp
Red Chilly (dry)        - 1-2
Salt                            - as per your wish

Method:-
Take Your Ingredients 
 

Heat 1 tbsp oil in big kadai/pan and add cumin Seeds

Add cardamom

Throw whole black paper 

Spice up with Cinnamon

Add dry Red Chilly

Now add rice

Mix Well

Add Salt

Again Mix Well

Now Add 5 cups water 

Cover and let them cook for 10 min covered

Remove cover and cook further till cooked fully

DONE DONE DONE

SERVE with whatever you wish

Notes:-
  1. I soaked rice for 15 min. You can use directly.
  2. You can skip Red Chilly if making for kids. 
  3. Use a big vessel if cooking in open pan or kadai.
  4. You can make this rice in cooker or rice cooker then use less water (use only 2 cups).
  5. Use water and rice ratio according to your vessels and rice quality as some rice soak more water.
