Mushroom Capsicum Pizza with India Touch and Spongy Base

Mushroom Capsicum Pizza with India Touch and Spongy Base
Hi Friends,
Who doesn't love pizza? I love it lot. Kids often ask me to make pizza at home. Making base at home is bit hectic  buying base from outside is a NO for me. So few days back i found new way to make pizza which can be ready within 30 min. Don't need to wait to rise and roll the dough. Just pour batter, set the toppings and bake. I don't have a oven otherwise it will take hardly 30 min to make 2 scrumptious pizzas. Now if kids asks for Pizza i don't need to think about base, just pour, set and bake that's all.
You can add any of your favorite toppings. I tried Mushroom and Capsicum and to give it a Indian Touch i added chat masala instead of Oregano. Kids loved it and vanished within minutes. Try it guys its a keeper for working ladies and in the time of rush just whip up this famous delicacy and impress everybody.

Ingredients:-
For Pizza Base- See Here

For Topping

Cheese- 3 tbsp
Mushroom- 2 tbsp chopped
Capsicum- 2 tbsp chopped
Onion - 1 tbsp
Tomato - 1 tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp
Chaat Masala - 2 tsp

Method:-
Gather your ingredients for topping

Make base and top that with chopped veggies

Sprinkle cheese tomato sauce and chaat masala

Bake for 15 min

for second pizza i foiled the cake pan so it can be removed easily

 Baked Pizzaz
First Pizza

Second Pizza

Cut and Serve

Sending to Lemon Kurry

Notes:-

  1. Make a thin (half inch) layer of batter for pizza base.
  2. Choose your favorite topping according to your liking.
  3. You can use oregano instead of Chaat masala.
  4. I don't have oven so i was suppose to bake pizza one by one. I divided batter ingredients in two parts(means dry and wet ingredients in two parts) mixed one part (dry and wet) and baked one pizza and then for next pizza again i mixed ingredients and made second pizza.
  5. If you have pizza pan or tart pan then you can easily make this pizza, but if you don't have pan then just foil your regular cake pan and use. This way it would be easy to remove pizza from the pan.

Its not like that that i haven't baked anything but I am not able to post it as photographs are really poor. So left that project for some other day.
Now to today's recipe which needs few ingredients, quick to make and very yummy and filling also. You can have it anytime. Its healthy too. I saw it on so many blogs and it was on my to-do list but somehow delayed the project. Now i tried it successfully and regretted later to make only one batch as my kids were asking for more and more. I was really very happy with the outcome. I have used brown bread here. you can use any. its really very good substitute of Pizza. Try this guys you will make your family happy.

spread chopped onion

and tomato

then grated cheese

flavor it with oregano and bit of salt

put tawa again on heat and cook on low heat
(preferable cover the tawa with some lid or dom like cover so that it should not touch the top of bread)

within 5-6 min cheese will melt

your pizza is ready to serve

Cut

or serve as it is

I served it like this to please my kids
Notes:-

  1. You can also use any veggie which can be eaten partially cooked or raw like carrot capsicum  thawed sweet corn etc. as we will bake this pizza for hardly 5 min.
  2. You can use pizza sauce instead of tomato sauce. I haven't any in hand.
  3. I have used brown bread here. you can use any.
  4. You can make it on regular or non stick tawa/pan.
  5. you can grease your tawa or spread butter on your bread slice alternatively.
