Ajwain Poori with Wheat Flour/
Carom Seed & Whole Wheat Fried Bread
Hi Friends,
Its monsoon, raining outside and you want something piping hot, soothing, crunchy, munchy and at that moment we don't mind fried stuff to satisfy our cravings. I guess i am totally right even for some i have poked sleeping temptation monster. So guys seeing so many tempting recipe in a magazine to kill my temptation monster i made carom seed poori which came out so crunchy that i can't tell you.
Aroma of fried poori's was just heaven. I can't forget that. It was so crusty. You can have it with any dry or gravy side dish. It will taste great. Even can have it with some chatni you like or with simple raita. Any way it will never disappoint you. So friends try it and kill your temptation moster.

Ingredients:-
Wheat Flour- 3 cups
Carom Seeds - 2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp+for frying
Method:-
Take your ingredients
Take wheat flour in a wide vessel
Add one tbsp oil
Add salt and carom seeds
mix well with your hands
Add water and start mixing and make dough
At the end of making dough
apply oil on your hand and make a tight dough
DOUGH IS READY
Now take a lemon size dough and roll it
Cut in circle with cookie cutter (i used a cap of a tin)
Heat oil in a vessel
Slip your poori in hot oil slowly and carefully
Fry from both sides
KIDDIES MINI POORI
SERVE WITH ANYTHING YOU LIKE
I served it with matar paneer
Notes:-
- You can add more salt or carom seeds if you like strong flavor.
- Adding oil in flour and mixing is very important otherwise poori will absorb more oil.
- Check oil with small pinch of dough or witha mini poori. Oil should not be too hot or just warm.
