Spicy Roasted Gram Daal/
Chana Daal Namkeen for Spice lover
Hi Friends,
Lots of sweets in my blog. Right? Even i felt that i have very less snacks or savory recipes in my blog. so slowly i am trying my hands on other savory delicacies. Few weeks back i bought a packet of Roasted Gram to make some savory snacks with them. But it was first time i was going to try my hands on this kind of savory snacks so fear of failure kept my plan back door. Few days back somehow i gathered courage and tried my hands on it and OMG it came out good. As some changes are required if you really want a snack like store bought one. Originally gram daal is deep fried for more crunchy taste but i shallow fried it for bit healthier version. It came out good but hubby a spice lover asked me to add more spices to make it like store bough one. But this version is perfect for me and people who like less spicy snacks. If you like it more spicy then add more spices without any second thought and enjoy your home made snacks with a cup of tea coffee or a tall glass of juice.

- Adjust spice as per you liking.
- If you want it more crunchy then deep fry daal.
- keep stirring while frying or shallow frying daal as it will burn if left for even few seconds.
- Be really fast after adding spices as it may get burn. keep stirring after adding spice and after one min take it off the gas stove.
