Healthy Peanut Butter
Hi Friends,
These days i am looking for quick, easy and healthy recipes. This dip/spread was in my to do list since long. But i was quite confused with the ingredients. I wanted to replace sugar with honey and oil with olive oil as i wanted to make its healthier version. But i was not sure whether i can try this combo or not as some ingredients can't be replaced in particular recipes. Then few day back i came across a healthy version of peanut butter and immediately i noted down the recipe and very next day i made this. It came out so delicious with the fact that it was much healthier then store bought stuff. Now i am enjoying this peanut butter on my toast every now and then. Try it guys and indulge in guilt free peanut butter toast.

Ingredients:-

Peanuts - 1 cup
Oil -2 tbsp
Honey- 2-3 tbsp
Salt - 2 pinch

Method:-

Grab your ingredients

Dry roast peanuts

Done

Let them cool down and peel off the skin 

Take roasted peanuts in a grinder/processor

Grind them

Add honey, oil and salt

Grind again
check the taste if sweetness is less then add more honey


Keep in a airtight container



Have it on a slice of bread

Notes:-
  1. After adding oil and other ingredients in grounded peanuts mix them for 15 seconds and wait for at least 1 min as texture will change a bit then if you feel oil is less then add more 1 tsp at a time.
  2. You can use normal refined oil or any of your favorite oil like soybean oil etc.
  3. You can use sugar or jaggery instead of honey as per your wish.
  4. Don't worry if you have added more oil then required. It will start floating on top after few hours, discard that oil and reserve for making next batch.
