Walnut Chocolate Cake/ Eggless Chocolate and Walnut Cake

Walnut Chocolate Cake/
Eggless Chocolate and Walnut Cake

Hi Friends,
MERRY CHRISTMAS
TO
ALL OF YOU
Last year i celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm. But this year is bit low so kept it simple by making a chocolate walnut cake, distributing Santa caps and candies to kids. I made this cake in hurry and i was amazed with he results. It was spongy, moist and sooo chocolaty. It took me 40 minutes to bake it. I always like to use walnuts in baking it gives a great crunch and unique taste to cake.

It was vanished as soon as it was cut and served to kids, kids kept on asking for more and more. You can serve it as Simple Tea Cake or with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce or even with ice cream etc. You can decorated it with whipped cream, chocolate ganache, butter chocolate cream etc. Have this cake any ways it will not disappoint you.

Notes:-

  1. You can use plain flour or mix of flours like 50-50 ratio of wheat and plain flour. I used whole wheat flour but nobody felt that.
  2. You can decrease chocolate and increase sugar if you are not a chocolate person.
  3. You you want to skip chocolate but need same dark color then use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
  4. You can use 50gm butter instead of oil.
  5. You can pulse the walnut in a mixer or crush them with some heavy object for more uniform mixing in the cake batter.
  6. You can any of your favorite nuts/dry fruit in it to make it more rich.
Hope you will like it

    1. Dear Vandana i am baking in cooker since last two years. cooker will be damaged if you will heat it empty. Fill it with sand or salt with atleast half inch thick layer. then it will not get damaged. For more safer method use an old cooker. I bought a new cooker so my 5 ltr cooker was discarded. Now i use that one cooker which is always filled with the salt and i use it for baking.
