Eggless Bat Ball Cake with Whip cream Icing for my Son's Birthday/ Bat Ball Cake

Eggless Bat Ball Cake with Whip cream Icing for my Son's Birthday/
Eggless Bat Ball Cake
Hi Friends,
I know i am irregular these days to post new recipes for all of you. I promise to be regular soon. I wanted to post so many new recipes but work schedule didn't let me do that. So here i am posting a recipe from my draft. Made two cakes on my Twin kids birthday. I made this DOLL CAKE for my daughter and this Bat-Ball Cake for my son.
Don't get confused if you see some writing content in above picture with white icing and on the top pictures it is with green icing  actually at first i wrote it with green icing then removed it (my hubby said its not visible) and used white icing for writing. Its just opposite in the pictures. I chose a loaf pan to ease my work as we will get a bit of dome shape like we can see in bats. It made my work so easy as i didn't need to shape my cake. I just made a simple handle with the extra cake and frosted it. I made this cake night before and frosted it next day. My son was very happy with the cake. My hubby said that the length of cake should be more to make it more realistic (as bat has a long body and handle) i convinced him by saying that its a bat for a kid not for a man when i will make a cake for him then definitely i will try to make a realistic bat ball cake. Till then let the boy enjoy his bat and ball.

Take your ingredients
Wet

Dry

Take curd in a bowl and whisk it

Add olive oil and mix well

throw in sugar and mix again

No need to melt sugar

Add vanilla and give it a quick stir

Now sieve all dry ingredients

Mix dry and wet ingredients

incorporate them well

Tip in the pan

Baked beautifully

FOR ICING - SEE HERE

Sorry here as i was not able to take pictures when i was shaping and frosting the cake but i will explain you the method:-

I baked my cake in loaf pan (to make the body of bat) and for the handle of the pan i used a extra small cake which i baked for backup. See tips here which i mentioned in my earlier post. I used whip cream for frosting the cake and used same colors to decorate the cake. You can see more tips here

I wrote few lines for my future cricketer
Here comes the ball. After thinking so much i decided to go easy with the ball so i just took a lollipop and made dotes with icing to make seam of the ball, cut the stick half and inserted it in the cake and my ball was ready.

AND My Cake is Ready

Notes:-

  1. You can make a big loaf cake and then carve it to shape it as bat.
  2. You can use a real or artificial ball to make ball but i wanted it to be eatable so used lollipop.
  3. I made two cakes one was Eggless vanilla doll cake (see here) and second i chose to make chocolate cake. You can use simple vanilla cake as well for this recipe.
  4. You can use vegetable oil or butter instead of Olive oil.

Oats Khichadi/
Olive Oil Recipes/
Oats Savory Porridge/
Healthy Breakfast
Hi Friends,
These days my husband a fitness freak is on Dieting sorry not dieting he calls it Right eating . He eats only healthy food. For breakfast he asks or something healthy or usually takes fruits. These days small packets of ready made mix of oats khichadi and upma are available in the market. He bought few packets and handover to me. I kept them aside bought a packet of plain oats and made this khichadi. He thought its the ready made packet i made. I used 3 tsp olive oil to make it more healthy. After sometime i told him that i made it myself with plain oats and he was surprised. Now this khichadi is a regular affair in my house. sometimes for a change i make sweet version of it which is also a healthy substitute.
Oats are so versatile. You can make khichadi, upma, add them plain in the milk, juice, curd or even in water, you can have them anytime in almost everything, it will make you full for hours and it become a     great substitute of unhealthy snacks or fried stuff which you take to suppress your cravings. So friends if you want to reduce your waist line then add oats in your daily routine and see the differences.

Ingredients:-

Oats - 1 cup
Onion - 1 chopped
Tomato- 1 chopped
Peas- half cup
Olive oil- 3 tsp
Chat masala- 1 tsp
Lemon - half

Method:-
Ingredients

Heat a kadai/skillet/pan and heat olive oil in it

Add peas cover and cook for 1 min

Cooked

Add chopped onion and tomato

Mix them well cover and cook for 1 minutes

You can break them with spoon

Add oats

mix well

add salt and chat masala

Pour 3 cups water

Cook for 5 min

Check the consistancy
(if you want khichadi more thick then cook for one more minute, otherwise switch of the gas stove)

DONE

Squeeze lemon while serving

Notes:-

  1. You can make it your favorite veggies like carrot beans etc.
  2. Onion tomato are purely optional. You can add only peas as per your preference.
  3. Chat masla will give it a nice hint of flavor you can skip it.
  4. You can use normal vegetable oil, i used olive oil to make it completely healthy breakfast.

Tomato Beetroot Smoothie/Healthy Breakfast/Summer Special

Tomato Beetroot Smoothie/
Healthy Breakfast/
Energy Packed Drink/
Summer Special

Hi Friends,
These days i am trying to recover from some health issues. So my concentration is more towards healthy substitutes. I try to replace my dinner with something healthy and filling. Yesterday i was going through some healthy food sites and suddenly i saw blood red juice/smoothie which grabbed my attention immediately. I saw ingredients and very much surprised to see that there were hardly anything required for that energy packed drink.
I decided to give it a try and after finishing my dinner part i grabbed my ingredients went to the kitchen and within 15 minutes it was ready. My son who refused to have dinner enjoyed it a lot. Its a energy packed rich drink which can be made thin or thick as per your choice. A good substitute for carrot juice available in fruit juice parlors.
Its so easy, quick and healthy drink. You don't need to sieve it to squeeze out juice and throw the pulp. Just run it through something with big holes to remove seeds of lemon and tomatoes or any piece left (this step is purely optional). A very refreshing drink for summers. Its a great drink for patients as its easy to digest and doesn't have any artificial, oily or unhealthy ingredients. A very healthy breakfast accompanied with a multi grain bread toast, a very great evening snack with a bowl of sprouts or a very scrumptious dinner with any salad. Start your day with it or call it a day with it, take it any way any time with any accompaniment or alone, it will never disappoint you. Try it guys its a great way to wash off  toxins from your tummy and give you a energy booster.

Ingredients:-
Tomato -3
Beetroot - half
Chat Masala - 1 tsp
Salt - as per your taste
Honey -1tsp
Lemon - half

Method:-

Ingredients

chop tomatoes and put them in a grinder

now beats

Squeeze lemon

add honey

give it a whizz

add chat masala

add more water and run again

we are making smoothie not juice so we don't need to sieve this, but we want to make it clear seeds less so any sieve or utensil with big holes will do

See all unwanted pulp gathered on top

Your rich energy packed smoothie is ready

Pour in the glasses

SERVE
