Eggless Tutti Fruity Cake and Whip Cream Icing with China Grass/
Eggless China Grass Cake and Icing for my own Birthday
Hi Friends,
I was away from my blog. Reasons are many whole family was suffering from viral and i busy in planning my kids birthday. Blogging world gave so much courage inspiration to me that today i can dare to try my hands on shaped cakes. In last few days i have learned so much about baking and decorations with my own experience. Yesterday was my younger sis and kids birthday. I baked three cakes for them. First time i tried my hands on doll cake for my daughter and a bat ball cake for my son. one more chocolate cake for sis and my office.
Today i am here with the cake which i made for my own birthday. Yes today is my birthday. I will post my other two cakes in few days as i wanted to add my this cake to Amy's Agar Agar Contest. I made this cake and icing with agar agar powder. Both came out so well. Cake was so airy and whip cream got stiff peaks within 10 minutes. I was so happy with the outcome. Will discuss the tips and precaution we should use while decorating shaped cakes. Now i am going to arrange a lunch and snacks for my office mates. bye guys.
For Cake
Dry ingredietns
All purpose flour -1.5 cups+ 1 tbsp to dust tutti fruity
Agar Agar - 1/2 cup
Baking soda- 3/4 tsp
Baking pdr- 1.5 tsp
Tutti Fruity - 1 cup
wet ingredients
Curd - 1 cup whisked
Sugar - 1 cup
Oil - 3/4 cups
Vanilla Essence- 2 tsp
For Icing
Whipped Cream - 1 cup
China Grass/Agar Agar - 2 tsp
Icing Sugar - 3/4 cup (my cream was sweetened so i didn't used it)
Food Color - 1 tsp (optional)
Method:-
Dry ingredients
wet ingredients
Tutti Fruity
First dust tutti fruity with 1 tbsp flour
mix wet ingredients
Sieve dry ingredients
Mix them slowly
Make a smooth batter
(you can add milk to adjust the consistency)
Add dusted tutti fruity
Mix Well
Tip in the pan
baked and leveled cake
Half Portion
filled with whipped cream
Covered and decorated
FOR ICING
Your ingredients
Take 1.5 cup cream in a big bowl
take half cup cream in a bowl or cup
and mix 2 tsp china grass in it
now start whipping cream
whip
add china grass and cream mix in it and whip again
within a minute soft peaks are there
Got stiff peaks within 2-3 minutes
I added orange and green color to Decorate my cakes for kids birthday yesterday (recipe coming soon) and for myself today

Notes:-
- If using China grass/agar-agar in pdr form then sieve it along flour if using china grass in solid form then melt it cool it a bit and add mix with wet ingredients.
- You can make this cake without tutti fruity also and add your favorite dry fruits, dried fruits, fruits etc.
- This much sweetness was perfect for me. You can adjust it according to your liking.
- My cream was sweetened already you can add icing sugar while whipping by adding 1/2 cup at a time.
