French Bean Aloo Sabzi/
French Beans Potato Side Dish

Hi Friends,
French Beans not so famous veggie. Even i was not a big fan of it. But now i have started liking it. Now i use them often in different dishes. My favorite dish with this bean is pulao. Will post some soon. People are not much aware about this long green bean, which is full of nutrition Check Here. After going through it, may be some people will start experimenting with it like me. Here i am posting very simple but delicious side dish with beans and potato. It doesn't take more then 25 min to cook it. So here we go with the recipe.

Ingredients:-
French Bean- 2 cups or half kg  (chopped)
Potato - 2 medium  (chopped)
Tomato- 1 Medium Chopped
Onion- 1 Medium Chopped
Ginger- 1 inch piece Chopped 
Garlic - 5-6 pods Chopped
Curry Leaves- 2-4
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Coriandar Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriandar Pdr - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Pdr - 1/2 tsp
Chilly Pdr -1/2 tsp

Method:-
Take your ingredients



Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan/kadai

Add coriander and cumin Seeds and let them crackle



 Add ginger garlic and fry for few seconds

Add chopped onion and tomato and saute for few minutes and add curry leaves






After 1-2 min add potatoes and mix well and cook for 1 min



After 1 min add beans


Now spice them up with chilly termaric pdr and salt


Now add rest of the spices and mix well

 Cover them for 5-10 min and keep stirring in between

 DONE


Serve


I made salad and Chapati/Indian Flat Bread/Roti to go with it

Notes:-
  1. You can cut beans in long pieces i prefer small size or potato in thin long wadges.
  2. You can make this side dish without potato also.
  3. At the end you can add 1/2 tsp garam masala for more flavor, didn't had any in hand.
  4. If you don't use onion or garlic you can make it with tomato only.
