Healthy Tandoori Roti without Tandoor/Oven
Hi Friends,
Do you love Tandoori food? I love to have tandoori roti smeared with lots of butter. Always wanted to make it at home, saw so many recipe on blogs but never felt like trying them as i don't have oven or tandoor at home and people who make them without these gadgets use their pressure cooker to make that. But i never found that easy or convenient. Saturday night i thought to give it a try and used my own imagination to make this delicious tandoori roti. I was bit scared to make it so i used less quantity to make nearly 8-10 tandoori rotis and just opposite to my thoughts it came out so delicious that my kids kept asking for more. I also made them for next day lunch also.
To give it a healthy touch i used wheat flour instead of regular APF/Maida but that doesn't made a big different. The rotis were soft and crispy. If you want to enjoy these rotis make them side by side or consume after making all. These are less tend to become hard like Maida flour rotis. These are so easy and quick that you can make them for unwanted guest also. It will take as much time as you take for normal wheat roti/phulkas. Try it guys and impress your family and guests.
