Matar Mashroom Gravy/ Side Dish with Peas and Mashroom

Matar Mashroom Gravy/
Side Dish with Peas and Mashroom

Hi Friends,
Hope you enjoyed your weekend and now ready to move ahead with lots of enthusiasm. last week after a long time i made mashrooms. I thought to make them bit heavy affair but lack of ingredients and some health related issues didn't let me do that. So i used very less spices and made simple Matar Mashroom for weekend. It came out so good. It was tasty and healthy. I served it with Peas Pulao. You can serve it with rice, biryani, pulao, roti, chapati, naan etc. It is a very simple dish. So if you like to have something healthy and less spicy then try this.

Ingredients:-
Mashroom - 1 packet/200gm
Matar/Peas - 1 cup peeled
Onion - 1 medium pureed
Tomato - 1 medium pureed
Ginger - 2 inch piece pureed
Garlic - 8-10 pods pureed
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriender Seeds -1/2 tsp
Coriander Pdr- 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
Chilly pdr- as per your taste ( i didn't used)
Salt- as per your taste

Method:-
Grab your ingredients

Clean and cut mashrooms

Take one tbsp oil in kadai

throw in cumin seeds and coriander seeds

add ginger garlic paste and cook for few seconds

Now add tomato onion and mix

Cook till oil separates

Now add salt and other spices

mix well

Throw in peas

Mix well, cover and cook for 1 min

Add 2 cups water

add mashroom

Cover and give it a good boil.

Done within 5 min

Garnish with coriander and Serve

I served it with Peas Pulao

Notes:-
  1. You can use green chilly for spicier version.
  2. Add water according to the thickness of gravy require. If you like it more dry then cook uncovered till water evaporates.
