Spicy Dahi Aloo/ Curd seasoned Potato/

Spicy Dahi Aloo for Vrat/
Curd Seasoned Potato/
Navaratri Special
Hi Friends,
Today i am here again with one more Navaratri special recipe. Yesterday night i made Spicy Dahi Aloo. I made them first time and it came out good. I made them spicy as only my husband who is on fast for nine days was suppose to have them. So i have added both red chilly and green chilly. You can skip both of them if making for kids. I was not aware that adding curd in some dish can add that much flavor. It was so delicious. I had only one piece and drnak one glass water. It was very spicy but yummy. If you are a spice lover then you must try it.

Ingredients:-
Boiled Potato- 3 medium
Curd-1 tbsp
Green Chilly- 3-4
Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
Amchoor Pdr-1/2 tsp
Chilly Pdr-1tsp
Salt-1 tsp

Method:-
Gather your ingredients
(add amchoor pdr in it)

Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadai

crackle cumin seeds in it

add green chilly

Throw in chopped boiled potato

Mix well

Add amchoor Masala

chilly pdr and salt

Mix everything well and cook for 1 min stirring in between

add curd and give it a good mix

cook for further 2 min stirring in between

Done Done Done

SERVE

Smoking Hot Dahi Aloo

Sending this to Milk SweetsNavarathri 2012 event

Notes:-
  1. You can use raw potato also for this recipe, but then it will take more time to cook.
  2. Skip both chilly if making for kids or if you prefer less spices.

HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT

  1. hi pari
with potatos we can always experiment and come to think of it most of our cookings are experiments
curd just enhances flavour and at times when i use curd i skip amchoor powder as the khatai comes from curd
