Spicy Potato for Spice Lovers

Spicy Potato for Spice Lovers
Hi Friends,
Today i am here again with a spicy, NO i should say very spicy recipe with potato. Whenever i make food my hubby says it was OK, and that words pinch me very badly. As its very difficult to reach at home late evening and make two kind of different food as i earlier also told you guys that me and my kids can't tolerate a single chilly and my hubby can eat 20-30 green chilly with ease in a single dish. Its not possible to do with each and every dish. But from last few days i am liberally using chilly in dishes to please his taste buds.  I wanted to make something different so trying new dishes with my imagination. Earlier i made Spicy Idli which was a hit at home and at blog also. So this time i was making french fries for kids and turned these fries into spicy potatoes by adding few more ingredients. So all spice lovers try it once and you will fall in love with this dish. I tried only one piece and drank at least one glass water hehehehe. So guys try it and tell me your views.

Ingredients:-
Potato - 2 medium (sliced as per your wish)
Ginger - 1 inch piece (chopped small)
Garlic - 8-10 pods (chopped small)
Chilly Flakes - 2 tsp
Chilly Pdr - 2 tsp
Green Chilly - 6-7 (chopped fine) i was out of stock
Sooji/Rava- 2 tbsp
Amchoor Pdr - 1 tsp
Salt - as per your taste

Method:-
Gather your ingredients

Dry fry Rava/sooji in pan and keep aside
(don't make it brown, just roast it for 1 min)

Take 2 tbsp oil in a Pan and fry (not deep fry) sliced potatoes
 See here  for frying method

When 90% cooked switch off the gas and add roasted rava/sooji

In a separate pan heat 2 tsp oil and add chopped ginger and garlic

(Now its a quick to do part)

Add all spices and stir quickly

Add rava covered potato and fry for one min

Serve with roti/chapati/rice

I didn't got the time to take more pics as it was over within minutes

Notes:-
  1. You can gladly omit chilly flakes and add more chilly pdr or green chilly.
  2. Add green chilly (don't chop them just chip the sides and add directly, it will give you more flavor.
  3. Stir quickly after adding chilly flakes and pdr otherwise it will smoke out and give you very bad sneezing.
  4. for beginner batter option is switch off the gas after adding chilly pdr and spices and switch on again after adding potatoes and stir well.
Hope you will like it
Love
